  1. Good storyOnly gave it 3 stars as there were a few mistakes or odd flowing sentences, characters seemed weak so couldn t fully understand their motivations and the pace of the story seemed slow wanting me to question things that had no answers Having said that I still think its a success and I don t often read a whole book in one day believe me that s an achievement in itself The descriptive was just right allowing one to picture the contents of the story and the events that took place Would be [...]

  2. This is a book I just couldn t stop reading Literally I started at 9.00pm and finished it at gone midnight I loved every second of it Linda McNabb was unknown to me before I chanced across her eBook Free, I didn t hesitate to download it after reading the blurb It certainly sounded like my type of story McNabb didn t disappoint either, and not only was this story enriched with well built characters and a plot, but descriptions and development were brilliant too.We are given bits and pieces that [...]

  3. This is a middle school level than what I generally think of as YA, and if I d read it when I was small I might not have noticed the weaknesses I find in it as an adult lack of deep world building, fairly flat characters, plot holes I might recommend it as gentle fantasy for a grade school or middle school audience, but I don t think I ll actually bother to pay to read the second one.

  4. Very enjoyable fantasy YA or possibly even a bit younger Main character is about 13 yo A bit on the short side but that s not unusual for books for this age group, and the price for the Kindle edition is only 99 cents I already bought the second in the series, and will likely scarf down all of them rather rapidly.

  5. This Book was just one you can never forget, it s a fantabulous book with many descriptions and it s perfect.
