Margaret Finnegan s work has appeared in Salon, LA Times, FamilyFun and other publications She lives in South Pasadena, California with her husband, two children, and her dog, Scout She is partial to all of them but must admit that the dog gives her the least grief, for which she is grateful Currently, she is just a little obsessed with soft serve vanilla ice cream and Ewan McGregor Is there a correlation there Hmmmy Freud would know.

  1. I laughed out loud several times while reading Margaret Finnegan s The Goddess Lounge This is her take on The Odyssey, which I haven t read But you don t have to know Homer s work to enjoy this book Finnegan s writing is profane, outrageous and divine.Petrea BurchardCamelot VineRead my full length review on Hometown Pasadena at hometown pasadena books why bit R0Zq1j

  2. I really loved this book It was a really enjoyable read full of such funny twists and turns It made me laugh constantly and it had a really great ending I recommend it completely

  3. The story is very entertaining, but what I liked best about this novel was the author s voice I felt as if a friend was telling me the story a friend with a very funny, ironic sense of humor A pleasure to read.

  4. The story zipped along at fun, fast pace and all the pieces fit together in a wonderful way As I often do with books I really, really like, I started mentally casting the movie version of this novel Looking for to Margaret s next book.

  5. Hilarious The author nails LA and its quirky, humanity challenged residents along with their obsessive need to find a good parking spot and outwit the heavy traffic that is so ubiquitous to get across town with minimal fuss Very funny.
