  2. Originally posted on the January 2017 Mini Review postTwo very sweet novellas I loved Turansky s Edwardian Brides series, so I was a little nervous excited worrying that they wouldn t be as good, but these novellas were really great Tea For Two This was my favorite of the two novellas It was sweet and clean and I really liked the characters and Sweet Something, too, of course I want to own a place like that or at least visit it Content clean No language violence A couple kisses, none very detail [...]

  3. This was a very good collection of two novellas It was my first time reading a book by Carrie Turansky and I definitely look forward to trying of her work in the future.I liked the first novella, Tea for Two It was definitely a heartwarming story and there were a couple of scenes in particular that I loved, but I felt like the characters fell a little flat and I kept feeling like I didn t really know them very well, which was a bit disappointing, but I m guessing that was mainly due to the word [...]

  4. I really liked both of these novellas Sometimes, with the shorter format, the storyline feels rushed, or incomplete I definitely did not feel that was the case with either of these two stories, even though each of them were only 10 chapters each and read quickly.I liked how faith and returning to faith played a major part in both of the sisters stories I appreciated the reminder to give God our WHOLE hearts, and not keep back some part that wants to be in control of where our story goes When bot [...]

  5. I really enjoyed both of these Novella s Each Novella lead me on two different journeys that really touched my heart in different ways Carrie Turansky managed to deliver two stories that was short in size but was not short in detail I did not feel short changed by these stories Excellent for an afternoon read with coffee

  7. Where Two Hearts Meet is actually 2 novellas in one Each one deals with a different sister They are both very sweet, true to life and God honoring.I read Carrie Turansky s Governess of Highland Hall last year and am looking forward to The Daughter of Highland Hall this fall.I don t think you ll go wrong with this book.

  12. I enjoyed the first story, but I didn t care for the second I didn t like Tessa, and I got tired of the arguing I also didn t like how it left some things hanging.

  13. o .Wish I Could Review Separately o Two Novellas supposedly centered around the Sweet Something Teashop.Novella 1 Tea For TwoFocuses on younger sister Allison Bennett, co owner of the teashop, and former boyfriend Tyler Lawrence When I read this first novella, I felt like Carrie was a true sister in Christ I absolutely loved it She described the wonderful teashop, and Allison s artwork with an open bible on a footstool next to a cozy fire She shared scripture and heartfelt prayer Allison s anxie [...]

  14. First this is two novellas published as one book I didn t realize that when I picked it up My fault it s clear if you actually read the cover The two stories are related, the heroines are sisters, but the second isn t a sequel to the first Just so you know.Allison Bennett runs a tea shop with her sister, Tessa Things are financially tight and looking grim when in walks Tyler Lawrence The past and the present clash when Tyler offers a helping hand with the business Allison trusted him once, and h [...]

  15. Enjoyed both novellas in this book the same theme runs through both You have to let go of the past to move into the future In the first, Allison struggles to trust the man who broke her heart 6 years before In the second, Tessa is a woman who has lost faith in her husband and maybe in God But God doesn t let go of her, Matt doesn t give up on her, and through tough times, she remembers the commitment she made to each of them and hope is restored I love the way Carrie s words paint a picture Guil [...]

  16. Two stories in one I enjoyed both of these tales of reconciliation, but I especially liked the second one about Tessa and Matt s marriage story I love, love, love these kinds of second chance journeys in fiction Thanks for not watering down the characters Christianity either With their mistakes and victories they turned to the Lord in prayer and devotion I loved it Highly recommended to readers of contemporary Christian fiction.

  17. two short stories of two sisters, one married n the other single Alison n Tyler story covers eight years n meeting each other after silence of time Tessa married 25 years to Matt with 3 children has problems with forgiving n trusting in Matt n the Lord as she felt they had let her down Will this family divide or come together

  18. Two different novellas about two sisters one who had never been married but who reconnected with the man who left her six years later and one who had been married for twenty five years Faith, forgiveness, and love combine in these entertaining reads.

  19. I really liked these short stories about Allison and Tessa I wish that Tessa s would have finished with some info about the Sweet Something Shop that she and her sister opened so I don t have to wonder what happened to it Definitely would read another book by this author.

  21. Two sweet novellas about sisters who own a small bakery together The sisters are over 10 years apart in age so the stories are from two entirely different life stages I found both sisters to be relatable and the stories are encouraging.
