  1. Eve versus Leon This is probably one of my favorite battles simply because Eve is one of my favorite characters Leon is a decent kid too, just a little misguided I love the way Eve fights and passively defeats her enemies She turns into a mermaid at one point which is so cool.

  2. This is one of those quickie reviews since there isn t much to say It begins with Train having to fight his Apostle of the Stars opponent with obvious results and ends on a cliffhanger of Sven going to fight his opponent In between that is River fighting his Apostle and Eve fighting hers There are two types of fight manga, ones where they manage to still tell a story or ones where there s no dialogue, no character growth and leaves you feeling cheated This is the former.Really, Train, River and [...]

  3. I seriously have been enjoying Kentaro Yabuki s Black Cat series for years now and the fifteenth volume called Black Cat Volume 15 Eve Attacks has really turned this series around for me as it concentrates on how tough Eve can really be After the Sweeper Alliance got attacked by Creed s Apostles of the Stars in the last volume, they ended up on the island where Creed s secret hideout is at and they meet up with even of Creed s Apostles of the Stars members While Train fights Maro and River fig [...]

  4. Train left underground organization Chronos to live his life on his own terms two years later, he s working with his partner Sven as a sweeper The action scenes are well choreographed, the art is good, and the plot is easy to follow and mostly believable When Eve takes on Leon, she s also taking on his very gendered view of her view spoiler and I love that she defeats both him and the gender stereotype he forces on her hide spoiler Woohoo Unfortunately, Sven brings those stereotypes back a bit w [...]

  5. This volume totally caught me by surprise There s a small fight for Train that s pretty cool, and a couple of extra guests arrive to join the party, but the real star of this volume is Eve who finally gets a chance to show the audience what she s made of Her fight against Leon is one of the best I ve ever read in any shonen manga On par with the showdown in volumes 15 16 of Flame of Recca.

  6. Pretty neat book I just don t understand stand why people don t read it I m so lonely in my Black Cat Fan club world My sister is that only one hereI m starting to miss Creed I hope he s in the next book
